In loving Memory of the Grandfather we never got to meet
Dear Thomas Victor Lawson ( Grandpa ),
Thank you for everything you did for our Country. You died at such a very young age of 32. You had two beautiful children Beverley & Victor ( Our Dad ). You also left behind your loving wife Constance ( Our Little Nan ). Your only son Victor passed away last year on the 14th February, 2022 following a long illness. He died on his wedding anniversary. He married the love of his life Margaret on Valentines Day and they went on to have 3 children Craig, Samantha & Peter. Craig is now married to Julie and they have 4 children ( who carry the Lawson surname ) Lachlan, Hayley, Ruby and Hollie. Samantha married Bruce and they have 2 children Jack and Eliza and Peter is married to Ingrid. It was so wonderful to come across this website so we can pay tribute to you and everything you did. Craig and I are planning a visit to the cemetery where you are buried next year and I know this will be a very emotional visit for us. We pay tribute to you every Anzac and Remembrance day and last year was very special when I was able to visit the Melbourne shrine of remembrance with my son Jack and hold your photo close to my heart. Your son Victor was a wonderful Dad who spoke so fondly of you but was devastated at losing you so young. He did so much for us and we miss him so much. Always in our hearts your loving Grandchildren Samantha & Craig x
