Cyril Markham LEWIS was born in Elwood, Victoria on 1st September, 1924

His parents were Gerald Markham LEWIS & Amelia Adelaidee EDWARDS who married in Victoria in 1904

His brother Leslie Markham LEWIS (SN VX 40617) served during WW2 in the Army as a Lieutenant and was discharged on 19th November 1945
