1 Apr 1916: Embarked AIF WW1, Private, 5062, 7th Infantry Battalion, Embarked on HMAT 'A23' Suffolk from Melbourne on 1st April 1916, disembarking Suez, Egypt on 12th May 1916. Embarked on SS Tunisian from Alexandria, Egypt on 28th May 1916 to Marseilles, France disembarking on 4th June 1916. Entrained to Etaples on 7th June 1916
18 Aug 1916: Imprisoned Mouquet Farm, Also wounded (GSW left hand). Repatriated from Germany 21 December 1918. RTA 28 March 1919 and discharged as MU on 28 July 1919.
