27 Jul 1945: Imprisoned Air War SE Asia 1941-45, Captured by the Japanese Occupation Force, taken to the southern Celebes, interrogated and executed.
21 Aug 1945: Involvement Royal Australian Air Force, Pilot Officer, No. 21 Squadron (RAAF), Air War SE Asia 1941-45, On 27th July 1945, Liberator A72-92 was downed by anti-aircraft fire near Tomohon, in the Celebes. The survivors were taken prisoner and executed by the Japanese on this date.
