Acting Signalman Terence Godfrey Lockard joined the crew of the Sydney in March, 1940. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. G. J. Lockard, of Moonah. His father served for seven years in the Royal Australian Navy in the First World War, and is serving in this war also.
