Corporal David Marr 60912 of Number 7 Mobile Works Squadron (7 Airfield Construction Squadron / 7ACS) was severely injured with extensive burns following a petrol explosion at Lae, New Guinea - his death occurred at Number 22 Medical Clearing Station, Noemfoor Island
