Son of John William and Marion McCandlish of Sea Lake, Victoria

Australian Infantry - attached to "M" Special Unit

Lieutenant Ronald William Feetum VX90387 and Sergeant Jack McCandlish VX80269 were captured on Aru Island and sent to Ambon where they were eventually executed by the Japanese Secret Police
