Namesake
Dads mate was Lt. Lawrence Dominic "Fats" McCarthy the father of Lawrence Norville McCarthy, and I was named after Lawrie in respect after he was killed in action. Uncle Mac was also my Godfather, but I never met his son.

His parents were Lawrence Dominic McCARTHY and Florence Minnie NORVILLE (also known as Flossie & Polly)
they married on 25th January, 1919 in Somerset, England - he was their only son
