Son of John Archibald Mc Gregor and Grace Amelia McGregor, of Warialda, New South Wales
Mr. Harvey McGregor received the sad hews that another of his nephews, Pte. John Archibald McGregor, of the 2/18 Bn., died of illness in Sandakan Camp, Borneo, whilst a prisoner of war. Pte. McGregor was the second son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. McGregor, of Warialda, and had business and land interests at Croppa Creek when he enlisted. As a boy Pte. McGregor represented Newington College in football and rowing. This is the fifth nephew Mr. Harvey McGregor has lost in war.
