Harcourt Hunter McMULLAN was born in Innisfail, Queensland on 13th October, 1919
His parents were Thomas Hunter McMULLAN & Vena Bell ROSE who married in Queensland on 24th September, 1918
He had previously served as a Private in the 51st Infantry Battalion and was discharged before joining the RAAF on 26th April, 1942
Harcourt died in a Flying Battle over Skagerrak off the Danish Coast on 8th May, 1944 with all his crew.

His father Thomas Hunter McMULLAN served during WW1 (SN 14470) in the Sea Transport Staff of the Australian Army Medical Corps (Staff Sergeant)
