Prisoner of War in Burma

27/6/1943    died of dysentry in POW Camp

buried in       Alepauk Prisoner of War cemetery, Alepauk, Burma (with Anderson Battalion, "A" Force)

later exhumed and reburied in:
                    Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery, Thanbyuzayat, Mon State, Myanmar

His name is commemorated on Panel 74 (incorrect); correct name placed on Supplementary panel 7
at the Australian War Memorial, Canberra, ACT.
