Sydney Gordon McSKIMMING was born in St Marys, NSW on 18th December, 1904

His parents were Alexander Urquhart McSKIMMING & Margaret Ellen SIMPSON who married in Chalmers St Presbyterian Church,  Sydney on 27th November, 1901

He married Esma Laurel Rose McKinley NELSON on 11th February,  1928 (registered in Bellingen, NSW) - 3 sons, Gordon, Kenneth & Bruce
