A late casualty list includes the name of F./Sgt. J. F. Mell, of Bingara, previously missing, now presumed dead.
A very pretty wedding was celebrated at the Presbyterian Church, Kogarah, on 23rd May, 1942 by Rev. Hansen, when Una Irene, third daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Hill, of Bingara, was married to John Frank Mell, R.A.A.F., second son of Mr. F. Mell, of "Langley," North Star, and the late Mrs. Mell
