Stan Moore was a Bootmaker. He was born in Melbourne in 1901. His registered birth name is Stanley William Edward Moore. His parents were Stanley Edward Cousins Moore and Evalyn Rexter. They were Nineteen when he was born. Stan was named after his father. He married in 1922 and the happy couple had one daughter then two sons. His youngest son predeceased him. This family suffered their difficult breavement in 1936. Nevertheless, Stan volunteered to serve overseas. He would fight for King and Empire. His wife, Violet Muriel Moore was his NOK when Stan enlisted in 1940. He fought in Syria but was KIA in 1941. His Commonwealth war grave is in Damascus. Lest We Forget.
