Llanyblodwel, his birthplace is a village and civil parish in Shropshire, England; the spelling "Llanyblodwell" was commonly used in the past, and the village was sometimes simply referred to as "Blodwel".

Lance Corporal Morris served with the 1st Machine Gun Battalion.
