Son of Frederick Claude and Ivy Beatrice Norman; husband of Faith Norman, of Edwardstown, South Australia. His brother, Ldg. Seaman Frederick William Norman, perished with him.
Able Seaman Charles George James Norman, 27, and his brother, Leading Seaman Frederick William Norman, two Tasmanian-born men, served together in the Sydney. While on leave A.B. Norman married Miss Fae Carmen, of Edwards town.
Leading Seaman Alexander Norman. of Queentown, another brother came home on leave recently after serving abroad, and the fourth brother, Able Seaman Alan Norman, is at sea.
