Alan Ramsay OAG was born in St Ives in NSW on 15th August, 1908
His parents were John Sutherland OAG & Emily RAMSAY who married in Sydney in 1892
He married Davina Peat ANDERSON in the Presbyterian Church in Leeton, NSW on 1st August, 1934 - two sons, Ian & Graham

His brother William David (Dave) OAG (SN NX31462 of the 2nd/19th Infantry Battalion died as a prisoner of war on 14th September, 1943
