Flying Officer Pace 270824 in Kittyhawk AL172 of 3SQN was killed when his aircraft was shot down near Gazala - his body was not recovered and he is commemorated on the Alamein Memorial, Egypt

Harrold Graham PACE was born in Brisbane, Queensland on 31st October, 1916
His parents were Arthur Harrold PACE & Jeanie Christie BUTLER who married in Queensland on 6th October, 1915
He married Ida Frances KEENAN in Queensland on 30th April, 1941
Before joining the RAAF he had previously served from 2nd August, 1935 to 1937 in the Army (9th/49th Infantry Battalion)
