Son of Arthur Sydney and Elizabeth Pascoe; husband of Lily Elizabeth Mary Pascoe, of Milperra.
Arthur Daniel Pascoe was 32 years old, married with three sons when he left work as a Poultry Farmer to enlist in the RAAF on 30 December 1941. He initially joined as a Mechanic before re-mustering to Flight Rigger and then later as a Fitter before being posted to Tocumwal to serve with 7 AD in December 1942.
On the afternoon of 5 February 1944, Arthur was on leave and swimming at the Numurkah pool when he dived into shallow water. He was taken to 5 RAAF Hospital with a fractured fifth cervical vertebrae and severeance of the spinal cord. Leading Aircraftman Pascoe passed away during the night on 6 February 1944.
