David DAVIES was born in Brisbane, Queensland on 10th November, 1917
His parents were Spinther Emrys Plummer DAVIES and Vida Mary SCOTT who married on 30th October, 1909 in San Francisco, United States
He married Mavis June WILLIAMSON in Ann St Presbyterian Church, Brisbane on 2nd June 1942

He had previously served in the 61st Infantry Battalion before discharge to join the RAAF
