Parents: -  John Ridley and Martha Simpson married 1897 Shildon, Durham, England.

John Ridley arrived in Australia  aboard the "Benalla” at Fremantle, Western Australia in 1926. John never married  and from 1930’s to his enlistment he worked in Kulin and Lake Grace as agricultural labourer.
