Pilot Officer Arthur Donald Roberts was flying a Hurricane aircraft which was shot down into the sea near Gravelins, France.
ROBERTS.-September 27, 1941, killed in action over English Channel, Pilot-Officer Arthur Donald Roberts, R.A.A.F., of Coolac, greatly loved son of Dudley H. Roberts and late Mrs. I. M. Roberts, and brother of C. K. (Bill), R.A.A.F., C. R. (Dick), R.A.A.F., and R. H. (Bob), aged 20 years.
