Guildford Blackman ROBINSON was born in Glen Innes, NSW on 20th January, 1919

His parents were George Henry ROBINSON & Louisa Maria WARRINGTON who married in Inverell in 1907

He enlisted with the Australian Army on 7th June 1940 and served with the 2nd/18th Infantry Battalion

He was listed as missing & later as a Prisoner of War of the Japanese in Sandakan Camp

Guildford died of Illness in Borneo on 8th March, 1945 & his name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Labuan Memorial
