Parents: - Henry Rodda and Jane Robertson married  1898 in Helena Vale,Western Australia, Australia.  Arthur was born two years later at Helena Valley. Henry Rodda unexpectedly died in 1910 at Midland,Western Australia he was 40 years old. Henry was a storekeeper at Midland Railway Workshop.  Arthur was 10 years old when his father died. Jane Rodda (nee Robertson) remarried in 1913 to George Fleming.

Wife: - Eileen Bridget Humphreys married 10th April 1924 in Perth's Registry Office, Western Australia.They had two children, William Henry born in 1925 and Shirley Margaret born in 1926.  Bill and Eileen divorced in Apr 1935, Perth, Western Australia. Bill Rodda remarried to Maisie ‘Eileen’ Newman in 1936.  They had one daughter Wendy.
