Pilot Officer Shepherd 411197 of 76SQN RAAF was killed when Kittyhawk A29-42 crashed at Ormeau, Queensland - his remains were shipped to Sydney for cremation and he is commemorated on Panel 5 of the NSW Cremation Memorial
