George Sarsfield SLOMAN was born in Glen Innes, NSW on 6th April, 1919
His parents were Alexander John SLOMAN & Ellen Mary BYRNES who married in Bundarra, NSW in 1902
He had previous service in the Citizens Forces with the 30th Battalion (Army) before he enlisted in the RAAF
George died in a Flying Battle in the Netherlands on 2nd March, 1943 and is buried in the Markelo General Cemetery in Overijssel, Holland
