"Mr Frank Wilson of Frankland Street received the sad news on Saturday that his son Private Charles Wilson had been killed in action in France on April 23rd.  Previous to enlisting Pte Wilson was employed by Mr Harry Goodluck.  Deceased was a good sport and a prominent player in the Central Football Club."
