MOTOR CYCLE VICTIM
The AIF soldier who lost his life at Tugun on Wednesday evening when thrown from a motor cycle was Lieut Stuart Maitland Thornton, who was a member of the staff of an Australian Army convalescent camp, and was on leave at the time. When the accident occurred he was on his way to Tweed Heads to join his wife, who had arrived from Sydney to spend a holiday at that town. The body was taken to Brisbane.
