My Great Uncle
Beresford Patrick is my great uncle .. he served in the 133 General Transport Company in Bougainville.
As he was about to leave for home he sat under a palm tree to write a letter to his mother and the tree fell on him and he died as a result.
His father was Patrick Francis who also served .. his mother Emily and Brother JB Walsh.
we are very proud of Beresford and remeber him each ANZAC day
