Biography

Henry Heath Lillystone WATERS was born on 2nd November, 1916 in Carlton, Melbourne, Victoria

His parents were William Lillystone WATERS and Lyle Victoria Hopwood TOOLE

Henry served for 2 years in the AIC Permanent Forces before he enlisted in the Australian Army

He was living in Seymour & enlisted at Royal Park on 28th November, 1940 - he was a prisoner of war in Malaya (8th Feb. 1943)

Henry served in the Pacific campaignas a Warrant Officer Class 1 with the 2/29th Battalion. He was captured at Parit Sulong in January 1942  and died of illness (dysentry) while a prisoner of war in Siam (Thailand) on 9th November, 1943 aged 27 years
