Son of William George and Kate Adelaide (nee Story) Watkins; husband of Heather Isabelle Mary Watkins of Jamestown, SA; brother of Rita Sarah Isabel Watkins, Bessie Maud Watkins and Geoffrey Morgan Watkins who also served in WW2 with the 2/3 Australian Anti Aircraft Regiment

Edwin was living at Jamestown at the time of his death
