Plane was Lancaster R5909 lost at Island of Laaland, Baltic Sea
Prior to enlisting he worked with Border Motor Panel - Lacquering Service at Albury
He had also a little knowledge of Telegraphy
At school he passed Arithmatic, English, History, Geography but failed Dictation
Played Rugby, Boxing and Athletics
