"WATSON-CARROLL.- March 18, 1943. A.B. Albert George Watson-Carroll, Royal Australian Navy, died suddenly on active service in Sydney, dearly beloved friend of Mrs. Ellen Fleming, Jo, Rene, Sid, Leila, Wal, John, Joan, Babs, Jan, Allan, Uncle George, and Pop, of 108 Arden Street, Coogee, aged 23 years." - from the Sydney Morning Herald 27 Mar 1943 (nla.gov.au)
