LET LIGHT PERPETUAL SHINE UPON HIM
The people of Whitton were profoundly shocked at the tragic news that their late recotr, Rev. M. Waugh, had been accidentally killed in Lae.
Rev. Waugh had been in charge of the parishes of Whitton, Yenda and Barellan for many years, and was greatly esteemed by all.
The Whitton Scout Movement ws founded by him, and he was fondlyknown to its members as 'Skip'. He was specially interested in the welfare of the younger generation, and gave much of his time in their interest.
