Biography

Son of Carlton Wills and Hermoine Mildred (nee Nelson)

"402430 Sergeant Arthur Reginald Wills, 458 Squadron RAAF, of Wingham, NSW. He was a clerk at the Bank of NSW at Wingham prior to enlistment. Sgt Wills was the 2nd pilot onboard Wellington Bomber AD539 on 15 February 1942 when it was shot down over the Mediterranean east of Sicily while in transit to the Middle East. Sgt Wills, aged 25, and five other crew members drowned. One crew member Acting Flight Officer J W Willis-Richards survived and was taken prisoner of war." - SOURCE (www.awm.gov.au)
