Son of Alfred and Myrtle Wilson, of Murrumbeena, Victoria, Australia.
HIS DUTY FEARLESSLY AND NOBLY DONE. EVER REMEMBERED
Pilot-Officer Alan William Wilson, 22, elder son of Mr and Mrs A. Wilson, Dunoon st, Murrumbeena. Previously reported missing, he is now believed killed on June 7, 1944, after a mission over France. Pilot Officer Wilson was captain of a Lancaster bomber which made many operational flights. He enlisted in 1941, before which he worked on his father's property at Taminick.

Pilot Officer Alan William Wilson 410510 was killed when Lancaster ND683 of 630 Squadron RAF crashed near Franquerville, Normandy, France
