His parents were Kenneth John WINTERBON & Hilda Constance WATTON who married in England in 1921

His brother John Trevor WINTERBON served in the Army (SN N76352) during WW2 and the RAAF (SN 413469) and died in a Flying Battle in the Netherlands on 24th June 1943
