Son of Sydney John and Mary Ellen Wright, of St. Marys, Tasmania, Australia
Another member of the Sydney's crew was Signaller Charles Patrick Wright, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Sydney Wright, of St Marys. He was 21 years of age, and had served in the Navy for 3 1/2 years. Mrs. Wright has another son serving overseas with the A.I.F.
