Brabazon Duke YONGE was born in Summer Hill, Sydney , NSW on 25th January, 1920
His parents were Arthur Duke YOUNG and Margery Newcomen CASEMENT who married in Sydney in 1919
His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial & the Plymouth War Memorial

His father Arthur served in WW1 (SN 32964) & returned to Australia in 1918 and served in WW2 (SN N244988 ) & was discharged in 1944
Biography
Joined the Australian Navy as a Cadet on 01 Jan 1934
"Lieutenant Brabazon Duke Yonge, RAN, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Duke Yonge, of Moss Vale, was killed last August 9 in action in HMAS Canberra at the Solomon Islands. This youth was a grandson of the late Doctor Casement, still well-remembered by many on the Macleay River." - from the Wingham Chronicle 16 Oct 1942 (nla.gov.au)
