Rest In Peace Brother

I had the honour of serving with Jamie as part of the 3rd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment in Charlie Company and Support Company 2001-2005. He was a dedicated, exceptional soldier and steadfast mate who always had a way of lifting the spirit of those around him and bringing out the best in people. He is sorely missed by anyone that knew him. Lest We Forget.

Biography contributed by VWM Australia

"Private Clark died... on 10 March 2005, after falling into a sinkhole while on patrol at Mount Austen, east of Honiara. He was 21 years old."

"Jamie died searching for hidden militia weapons in the Solomon Islands," said Mrs Clark, of of Aveley in Perth's north-east. "He was protecting others, serving his country. He didn't choose where to die."
