"...294 Private George Walter Hull. Originally from Dunach, Victoria, while in Queensland Hull enlisted with the Third Contingent, Queensland Mounted Infantry, which sailed from Brisbane for Cape Town on 1 March 1900. After taking part in several battles, including Mafeking, Pte Hull died of enteric fever in Pretoria on 6 January 1901.
