James William LYND was born in Blenheim, New Zealand on 1st May, 1874

His parents were John LIND & Emma JACKSON - his mother remarried to Charles STENT in New Zealand in 1904 - previously married John LIND in 1872

He died at Jericho on 23rd October, 1900 while serving in the Boer War
