Biography

3790530 BROWN Lindsay Noel, Aged 22,
3rd Battalion Royal Australian Regiment
He was an apprentice fitter and turner when called up in February 1967. The rifleman private with 3RAR was killed in an enemy attack on Fire Support Base Coral, Bien Hoa, in the early hours of May 26, 1968. The defence of Firebases Coral and Balmoral was the largest Australian action of the Vietnam war.
