5th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment
He grew up on Meadow Station north of Geraldton, Western Australia. On 21st February 1967 the APC in which Clark was travelling hit a mine at the base of the Long Hai hills and overturned. He was evacuated to the US 36th Evacuation Hospital at Vung Tau but died before he arrived there.
