38530 Sapper. Ronald Edward Davies, 24.
1st Field Squadron Royal Australian Corps of Engineers (RAE) He was working with 9RAR when he was killed on 28th May 1969 in Phuoc Tuy. According to a friend who knew him in Vietnam Davies who was often attached to US and South Vietnamese Units, had become convinced that he was going to be killed.
