Peace Garden

Michael Tognolini born 28th February 1951 left for Vietnam on 21st February 1970 just prior to his 19th birthday. The youngest of three children he lived in Enfield and spent his school years at Christian Brothers Burwood. At 17 Michael enlisted in the Army and served as a trooper to B Squadron 3rd Cavalry Regiment RAAC. He died as a result of wounds on 20th April 1970 after the Armoured Personnel Carrier in which he was traveling struck a mine.
