Jack Lowell AMIES was born in Sydney, NSW on 14th December, 1913

His parents were John Thomas AMIES & Ivy Violet FRENCH

He married Mary Isabella (Molly) WETHERELL in Sydney on 11th January 1940

See attached links for further details about his Army service - He attained the rank of Brigadier and received an Commander of the Order of the British Empire in December, 1943 and was Mentioned in despatches (see links for details)

Jack died in Queensland on 7th November, 1996 and was cremated & later interred in St Andrews Anglican Church in Indooroopilly, Queensland
