Joseph was also known by the name of Roy. His mothers maiden name was Slocombe. Roy was the first man from Wedderburn to fall in the War and was recognised extensively at the time of his death. His loss was deeply felt by his sisters and brothers. He had numerous, including my Great Grandmother Edith Barclaynee Lemon. Others siblings were well known in Wedderburn
