ATHERTON, Guy Dart (1892-1950)

Born on 24 March 1892, the son of Thomas Atherton and Harriett nee Finley. He was educated at Geelong College from 1906 until 1910, and was Cox of the 1st VIII in 1908. His address at enrolment was 'Ventnor', Walsh Street, South Yarra

He went to England at his own expense, and served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Warwickshire Regiment (Royal Army Service Corps) on the Western Front in France. He died in 1950.
