William Joseph Gibbons and Mary Maria Stapleton married 1869 in Carcoar, New South Wales, Australia.
Court of Inquiry convened on 14th June 1917, pronounced Private Daniel Gibbins fate as killed in action on the 24th July 1916. Details of burial unknown. However in 1937, Private Gibbins remains were located in an unmarked grave in the vicinity of Pozieres, France identification was confirmed via his "identity disc ". Private Daniel Gibbons remains were exhumed and reinterred in London Cemetery and Extension.
